You may have seen us share snippets of the Through the Dark Lens Live 2023 Conference. We have wanted to take TTDL to the next level, and after the conference in February, we realised that bringing it to life will do just that. Back in 2021, when we first launched TTDL we agreed it would be an action focused conference, like no other and we are pleased to say that we are achieving this.
The Through the Dark Lens Live 2023 is action focused.
The theme of Day 3 will be to become change agents, delegates will be asked to make a #darklenspledge that they will commit to make a positive change in maternity care for Black and brown bodied people, there will be opportunity for regular check-in after this live event to share progress and experiences.
The day will consist of a panel discussion, a workshop, and an afternoon dedicated to making a pledge, taking real action.
Tickets will be sold at £50 which includes the full day access, lunch and a goodie bag.
If you have previously attended the online conference, this will be of no extra charge - please do get in contact if this is the case.

We are currently collecting artistic pieces that celebrate different cultural practices in pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. If you have something you wish to share, please send us an email - it could be a poem, spoken word, a painting or a recipe!
